MAC Hall Of Fame Award For Sean Keville ’96 Presented To His Family

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- On April 8, 2020, former Hound and Hall of Fame quarterback, Sean Keville '96, succumbed to complications from the Covid 19 virus. Not long after his death, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced that Sean was a part of their 2020 Hall of Fame inductees.

Sean had an outstanding career at Moravian as evident by his induction into the Greyhound Hall of Fame in 2007. Among his postseason honors, he was the 1994 MAC MVP; 1994 MAC Offensive Player of the Year; 1994 ECAC South Player of the Year; and NCAA D-III 2nd Team All-American.

The record book on the football website lists 22 categories for QB's and Sean Keville is in the top 5 of 17 of those categories.

Recently, a Memorial Service and Celebration of Life was held to honor Sean. During this event, former head coach Scot Dapp, along with current coach Jeff Pukszyn, and Athletics Director Mary Beth Spirk, presented Sean's MAC Hall of Fame plaque to Sean's wife, Madeline, and his daughter, Maggie. Madeline and Maggie were joined by Sean's mother, Patricia; his sister, Kim Logan; and his brother Ryan.

It was also announced at this event that the Moravian MVP award for the annual Muhlenberg game will now be called the Sean Keville MVP Award.

A number of Sean's former teammates were in attendance for the service: Ian Allena '95; Tim Hahn '94; Shane Hollawell '94; Ernie Ibarra '95; and John Visceglia '94.
