BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University has selected Brynn Seidenstricker to join the Greyhounds as Assistant Athletic Director beginning on August 2, 2021.

"It is my pleasure to introduce Brynn Seidenstricker to the Moravian University community as our new Assistant Athletic Director," stated Athletic Director Mary Beth Spirk. "After an extensive national search, Brynn emerged among a very strong pool of applicants."

Seidenstricker comes to Bethlehem after four years as Assistant Athletic Director, Student Services at the University of North Georgia. In her position, Seidenstricker managed the academic support program and student services for the Nighthawk student-athletes as well as monitoring their academic progress and course planning to meet NCAA, Peach Belt Conference and University requirements. In addition to her academic oversight responsibilities, Seidenstricker developed and implemented the Nighthawk360 program. Nighthawk 360 is the comprehensive life skills program for all UNG student-athletes that focuses on health and well-being, career development, and preparing student-athletes for their next steps in athletics and in life. As a member of the senior leadership team, she also provided sport oversight of men's soccer and men's basketball and game administration at home athletic events.

"I am ecstatic to be joining the Greyhound family," stated Seidenstricker. "I am grateful to Director of Athletics, Mary Beth Spirk, Assistant Athletic Director, Rebecca May, the search committee, and Dr. Nicole Loyd for giving me the opportunity to serve as Assistant Athletic Director. Moravian's commitment to integrating the holistic student-athlete experience into the college's mission and values is what attracted me to this position, and I am eager to build upon a tradition of success and move our department forward. I look forward to serving Moravian, our student-athletes, coaches, and staff.

Seidenstricker facilitated the inaugural NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Training in June 2021, and she is a graduate of the 2019 Women Leaders in College Sports Institute for Administrative Advancement. Additional trained facilitations include the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum, Institute for Sports and Social Justice Huddle Up program and the OneLove Foundation.

Prior to her time at North Georgia, Seidenstricker worked for two years at Mercyhurst University as the field hockey graduate assistant coach and SAAC advisor. She also spent a year as an NCAA postgraduate intern with the governance department, working primarily with the Division III membership committee structure during the 2014-15 academic year. Her primary duties included supporting numerous NCAA membership committees, assisting with NLI inquiries and correspondence, and planning and executing National Championships and Leadership Development programming.

Spirk added, "Brynn has had experience as a former college athlete, coach and administrator. Her experience as an administrator at the college level and at the NCAA office will help to move the Moravian Athletic Department forward. Brynn's diverse background and strong work ethic will be welcomed as the department prepares to start the new semester."

Seidenstricker graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, and she received her Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Sports Leadership from Mercyhurst in 2017. As an undergraduate at Shippensburg, Seidenstricker helped the Red Raiders field hockey program post a 75-10 record, three NCAA Division II semifinal appearances, two championship game appearances, and the 2013 National Championship as a senior. Seidenstricker also served as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference representative to the NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
