Greyhound Cross Country Teams to Race at Lehigh University on September 3 to Begin 2021 Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's and women's cross country teams are set to begin their 2021 schedule on Friday, September 3 when the teams both run a 6K race in the Lehigh University Invitational with the women starting at 5:30 p.m. and followed by the men.

11th-year Director of Cross Country and Track & Field Jesse Baumann returns a pair of strong teams. The women have ten experienced runners back led by seniors Emma Marion and Natalie Stabilito, who was the 2018 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year after earning All-Conference Second Team honors. On the men's side, the Greyhounds have 14 returners topped by graduate student Peter Gingrich and seniors Shane Houghton and Dominic DeRafelo, who was also the 2018 Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year and a Second Team All-Conference honoree.

The Hounds will host the Moravian Invitational on Friday, September 17 at Bicentennial Park in Northampton with race action starting at 5:30 p.m.
