BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University Athletics is hosting its third Athletics Giving Challenge that runs from October 28-November 7. The Greyhounds had 297 donors on the first day of the challenge raising more than $27,000.

The softball team leads the list with 71 donors for more than $7,500 while both the women's basketball had 51 donors for over $2,300 and women's soccer squad had 47 donors. The men's basketball program had 18 donors on the opening day while the football squad had 15 donors for over $3,700. The Blue & Grey Club and the field hockey team each had 13 donors while the baseball and swimming programs each had 10 donors on after day one of the giving challenge. The Blue & Grey Club, football, men's tennis, softball and women's basketball all surpassed $2,000 on day one, while the golf, men's soccer and women's soccer programs all eclipsed $1,000 on the first day.

There are different ways to be involved, donors can make a donation to the general account to help with departmental-wide needs or select a program that they feel most passionate about. To make a donation, visit moravian.edu/backthepack and help us reach our goal of 1,700 donors in 11 days.
