BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's and women's indoor track & field schedule is set for the 2021-22 season, and the Greyhounds will begin action on Friday, December 3 with the opening day of competition at the Lehigh University Fast Times Before Finals meet.
The opening meet at Lehigh has three events and several multi-event competitions beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday while most of the meet will take place on Saturday, December 4 at Rauch Fieldhouse over at Lehigh. The competition will be the only one for the Greyhounds in the first semester.
After a month off from meets, the Hounds will return to action on Friday, January 14 with a trip to the Ithaca (N.Y.) College Quad meet. Moravian then hosts an indoor meet at Lehigh's Rauch Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 22 before heading to the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, New York for the University of Albany Great Dane Classic on Friday, January 28. The Greyhounds finish the month by splitting the squad on Saturday, January 29 with part of the team heading to the Nazareth (N.Y.) College Conference Challenge Cup and the rest of the team competing in the McElligott Invitational at Haverford College.
Moravian has four meets scheduled in the month of February, starting with a trip to the Alvernia University PLEX Shootout on Saturday, February 5. The Greyhounds head back to Ocean Breeze on Friday, February 11 for the Fasttrack National Invitational before finishing up the regular season at the Penn State University Tune-Up on Friday, February 18. Moravian will compete in the 2022 Landmark Conference Championships at Susquehanna University on Saturday, February 26.
The Greyhounds have two more postseason competitions in March with the two-day 2022 All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships being hosted by Nazareth on Friday and Saturday, March 4-5 and then the two-day 2022 NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on Friday and Saturday, March 11-12.
Following the indoor national championships, the Greyhounds will have a weekend off before the outdoor season begins.
