Moravian to Host Annual Play4Kay Basketball Clinic on February 6

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University basketball teams will be hosting their annual Play4Kay Clinic in in Johnston Hall on Sunday, February 6 with donations accepted to attend the clinic that will benefit the women's squad's Play4Kay Week to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.

The clinic, which is open to boys and girls from grades 2-12, will run from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. and include drills and games.

The day before the clinic on Saturday, February 5, the Greyhounds host Elizabethtown College in a Landmark Conference doubleheader with the men's game at 2:00 p.m. followed by the women at 4:00 p.m. The men will be celebrating Alumni Day with the annual contest at 11:00 a.m. and halftime of the varsity game will have a contest between the Little Canes 3/4.

The Moravian women are celebrating Take a Kid to the Game and National Girls and Women in Sports Day, which celebrates its 36th anniversary on February 2. For more than three decades, this celebration has empowered women and girls to get moving, reap the benefits of physical activity and push past their limits both in sports and in life. The confidence, strength and character gained through sports and physical activity are the very tools girls need to become strong leaders, in their own lives and in the world. Children that attend the women's game will receive a t-shirt.
