Here is a look at the nine contests that received votes from the Moravian athletic administrators but missed out on making the Top 10 Ganes of 2021-22.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian University is continuing to look back at its 2021-22 athletic campaign. Before announcing the top event in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year, here is a look at the nine contests that received votes from the Moravian athletic administrators but missed out on making the Top 10.

Men's Tennis Tops Alvernia, 5-4, to Begin 2021-22 Season
The Blue and Grey, under the direction of first-year Director of Tennis Mariana Freitas, opened their 2021-22 season, the first complete campaign since 2018-19, with a 5-4 victory over Alvernia University on September 26 at Hoffman Courts. Moravian opened up a 2-1 lead after doubles with triumphs from the tandems of junior Andrew Hozza and freshman Ronny Pimental Ferrer at third doubles and freshmen Zachary Lebby and Anthony Ronca at first doubles. Hozza, Ronca and junior Kiernan Pisani all won in singles action with Ronca's three-set win at second singles clinching the final team point.

Women's Basketball Scores 32 Points in Fourth Quarter for Win Over Russell Sage
The Greyhounds headed to the Emmanuel (Mass.) College Tip-Off Tournament in Boston last November and would rally from a 13-point deficit early in the fourth quarter for a 65-60 win over Russell Sage (N.Y.) College in Moravian's first victory of the year on November 13. Down 46-33 just 13 seconds into the final quarter, the Blue and Grey went on a 20-6 run with junior forward Emily Markowski putting the Hounds back in front 53-52 with 4:35 remaining. Senior forward Kayla Yoegel gave Moravian the lead for good at 58-57 with 1:32 on the clock. Sophomore forward Sam Osorio led the Greyhounds with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Men's Lacrosse Rallies from Three-Goal Deficit to Defeat Susquehanna on Senior Day
Moravian celebrated Senior Day on April 15, and the squad would rally from a three-goal halftime deficit to post a 14-10 victory over Susquehanna University on John Makuvek Field. The Greyhounds scored first as senior attack Connor James found the net just 2:24 into the contest; however, the River Hawks netted four straight goals and led 6-2 after 15 minutes of action. The Blue and Grey put in four goals in the second quarter but still trailed 9-6 midway through the contest. In the third quarter, the Hounds scored twice to one goal for Susquehanna as the teams headed to the final 15 minutes with the River Hawks up 10-8. The fourth quarter would be all Moravian with the Greyhounds netting all six goals in the period. Senior attack Griffin LeBlond, freshman midfielder Steven Salica and freshman midfielder Aaron Judge each scored twice in the quarter with Salica giving the Hounds the lead for good with 10:03 to play. James, LeBlond, Salica and Judge all had hat tricks in the match while sophomore attack Trevor Dzama had six assists and freshman goalie Thomas Lee contributed 11 saves.

Women's Basketball Rallies in Second Half for Win over Susquehanna
The Hounds turned a three-point halftime deficit into an 11-point win, 74-63, over Susquehanna on January 26 in Johnston Hall. The River Hawks had a 34-31 lead heading into the intermission. Moravian quickly knotted the score at 36-36 in the third quarter, and a late three-pointer from junior guard Madison Amy had the Blue and Grey up 47-46 after 30 minutes of action. The contest was tied twice in the fourth quarter, the second time at 54-54 before junior guard Jackie Kelly gave the Greyhounds the lead for good with just over six minutes to play. Moravian finished the game with an 18-9 run. Senior forward Kayla Yoegel led the way with a career high 33 points for the Hounds to go with eight rebounds.

Men's Basketball Tops Delaware Valley in Overtime
The Blue and Grey, who were led by alum and interim Head Coach Mike Frew this past season, earned their second win of the season on November 16 as the squad posted a 78-75 overtime victory versus Delaware Valley University in Johnston Hall. The Hounds led by as many as 12 points in the first half but were up just three points, 40-37, at the intermission. The Aggies turned on the offense early in the second half, and Delaware Valley led by nine points, 69-60, with 3:39 to go. Moravian's defense stepped up and did not allow the Aggies to score again in regulation and a lay-up off of a steal by junior guard Nate Dougherty with 14 seconds remaining would force overtime tied at 69-69. In the extra five minutes, the squads would trade baskets until the final 35 seconds when senior guard Danny Cooper gave Moravian the lead for good. Sophomore guard Alex Dietz led four Hounds in double digits with a career-high 23 points.

Women's Volleyball Defeats Rival Muhlenberg
The Greyhounds defeated rival Muhlenberg College, 3-1, in Johnston Hall on September 30 for Moravian's first win over the Mules on the volleyball court since 2013. The Hounds took the opening set 25-16 and won the second set 25-17 before Muhlenberg captured the third set 25-18. Moravian scored the victory by taking the fourth set 25-23 with freshman middle hitter Jenna Deegan recording a block for the final point. Senior outside hitter Sela Herber led the Greyhounds with 14 kills while senior outside hitter Kirah Dreisbach added 13 kills and 14 digs and freshman middle blocker Kerry Dillon contributed a career-high 11 kills.

Women's Soccer Blanks Ursinus on Fastest Goal in School History
Moravian needed just 19 seconds to take the lead in a 1-0 victory at Ursinus College on October 6 as senior forward Charlotte Smith netted the fastest goal in program history after chipping a bad angle shot over the goalie and inside the post. Sophomore goalies Payce Korpics and Paige Harrison made the quick lead stand with Korpics making two saves in the first half and Harrison recording three saves in the final 45 minutes. The shutout was one of eight for the Greyhounds on the season which included a pair of 0-0, double-overtime draws.

Men's Soccer Scores Twice Late in 2-1, Double-Overtime Win at Scranton
The Hounds earned their first Landmark Conference win of the season with a pair of late goals in a 2-1, double-overtime win at The University of Scranton on October 23. The squads were scoreless through the first 64 minutes of the match before the Royals got onto the scoreboard. Moravian knotted the match with just 23 seconds remaining when senior forward Andrew Goodolf hit a shot inside the right post on a cross from sophomore defender Jake Crawford to send the contest to extra time. Both squads took four shots in the first overtime but neither found the net. With just 1:04 left in the second overtime, Goodolf collected a loose ball in the box and scored the game-winning goal. Sophomore goalie Christian Beebe earned the win with three saves in the overtime sessions.

Men's Basketball Tops Cabrini on Buzzer Beater from Dietz
The Blue and Grey evened their season record at 3-3 and finished a five-game homestand with an 80-78 win over Cabrini University in Johnston Hall as sophomore guard Alex Dietz dropped a buzzer beating shot for the victory. Early in the contest, the squads were tied at 12-12 before the Cavaliers moved ahead by as many as 12 points. The Hounds cut the deficit to five points, 39-34, at halftime on a three-pointer from senior guard Danny Cooper. Cabrini led by as many as nine points with just over 14 minutes on the clock, but Moravian responded and took a 73-67 edge after a lay-up from sophomore forward Thomas Abato with 3:03 remaining. The Cavaliers knotted the score at 78-78 with 17 ticks left on the clock, setting up Deitz's buzzer beating 10-foot jumper. Junior guard Nate Dougherty led the Greyhounds with 17 points while Cooper and Dietz each scored 15 points.
