Dr. Stacy Robustelli ’97 - Robert Martin Herbstman Award Winner

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Dr. Stacy Robustelli '97 will be receiving the Robert Martin Herbstman Award during the Moravian University Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony on October 7, 2022 in Johnston Hall beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Robustelli, a 1997 Moravian graduate, participated on the women's tennis and softball teams during her career as a Greyhound. Robustelli was a member of the 1994 women's tennis team that also be inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2022. Since graduation, Robustelli has become a leader in the field of psychology. She was an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University where she taught undergraduate and graduate students. She served as an Associate Research Scientist and a Research Consultant for the Educational Testing Service (2009-2019), and since 2018, she is the Director of Education at HITOPS, Incorporated in Princeton, New Jersey. This non-profit organization fosters strong and healthy young people of all identities by providing inclusive and youth-informed sex education and LGBTQ+ support for young people throughout New Jersey. Robustelli gives back to Moravian by serving as a guest lecturer for the Psychology Department.

The Robert M. Herbstman Award recognizes an alumnus or alumna whose qualities of teamwork, leadership, and selflessness exemplify the spirit of Moravian University athletics.

Robustelli's honor will be presented before dinner, which will be followed by the induction ceremony for softball student-athlete Erica Klepeisz Kilpatrick '09; men's tennis and soccer player and former men's and women's soccer coach Eric Lambinus '94; former baseball student-athlete George Pitsilos '67, two-time NCAA Division III National Champion pole vaulter Abigail Schaffer '12 and four-time NCAA Division III National Champion sprinter Eric Campbell-Woodruff '11. The 1994, 2001, 2002 and 2003 women's tennis teams will also be inducted on Friday, October 7.
