Morgan Mercier joined Moravian in June 2023 as Coordinator of Athletic Operations, and he is also serving as an assistant women's soccer coach for the 2023 season. He came to Moravian after two years as assistant of athletic administration and assistant women’s soccer coach at Regis (Mass.) College where he was the 2021-22 Employee of the Year for the Athletic Department at Regis. Mercier also worked for a year as an athletics intern at Emmanuel (Mass.) College and an intern at the Great Northeast Athletic Conference in the fall of 2020. His duties at Moravian include overseeing the office management of the athletic department while also serving on the administration team and assisting the department and coaching staff with internal operations such as game day management, travel, scheduling, budgeting, and special events.

Mercier was a member of the men’s soccer and men’s lacrosse teams during his undergraduate days at Emmanuel, serving as a team captain in both sports as a senior. He earned GNAC Academic All-Conference six times, three years in each sport, and he was a finalist for the 2021 GNAC Man of the Year award. Mercier also spent three years as a member of Emmanuel’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was a national SAAC representative to the NCAA Division III SAAC in 2020-21. Mercier is a 2021 graduate of Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management while minoring in education. He recently completed his Master of Arts in Strategic Sports Communication at Regis College.
