BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College football team has named seniors Jake Hildebrand (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus HS), Jim Tersigni (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg HS) and Luke Trexler (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus HS) and junior Robbie Moyer (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South HS) team captains for the 2012 season.

Hildebrand is entering his fourth season as a starting linebacker for the Greyhounds.  In 28 career games, Hildebrand has 169 tackles with 79 solo stops to go with 19 tackles for loss and five sacks.  He has also contributed eight passed defended, three interceptions including one returned for a touchdown in 2010, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.  Hildebrand has also seen limited action as a fullback with one carry for nine yards in his career.

Moyer saw action in all ten games last fall in his first season at Moravian.  He completed 46-of-111 passes for 350 yards with one touchdown, and he also ran the ball 70 times for 242 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Tersigni has seen action in 15 career games on Moravian's offensive line.

Trexler played in all ten games at linebacker last season in his first year with Moravian.  Trexler contributed 35 tackles with 27 solo stops, four tackles for loss, a pass break-up and a forced fumble.

The Greyhounds began their 2012 preseason on Sunday, August 12th as the team prepares for its opening game on Saturday, September 1st when Moravian hosts Ithaca College in a non-conference contest kicking off at 1:00 p.m. at Rocco Calvo Field.
