LeSage Earns First Career Shutout in Scoreless Draw at Penn State-Abington

ABINGTON, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer team played to a double-overtime scoreless draw at Penn State-Abington in non-conference action Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The squads played through a scoreless first half with the Greyhounds taking 11 shots in the opening 45 minutes
  • The teams also played a scoreless second half as Moravian took another seven shots and had placed 10 shots on goal through regulation
  • The match was still 0-0 after the first overtime with neither team getting a shot off in the 10-minute session, and the contest remained the same through the second overtime 

Inside the Numbers

  • Moravian had an 18-7 advantage in shots including 10-3 on goal, and the Hounds had an 8-7 edge in corner kicks
  • Senior goalie Mason LeSage recorded two saves in his first career clean sheet. The Greyhounds also had one team save in the contest
