Greyhound Men’s Soccer Squad Traveling to England for International Trip January 7-15

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad is set to travel on an international trip to England from January 7-15, 2023, which will include training sessions, three friendly matches, stadium tours and professional matches.

The Greyhounds arrive in Manchester, England on January 8 and will attend a Manchester City versus Chelsea FA Cup match. The next day, the Hounds will enjoy a tour of the Manchester United stadium, a pro training session with one of the Manchester United Academy coaches and participate in a friendly match with one the Bolton Wanderers FC Academy team.

January 10 starts with a tour of the Liverpool FC stadium for the Blue and Grey before the squad plays a friendly match with a Fleetwood Town FC Academy team. The day finishes with the Hounds attending a Bolton FC versus Portsmouth FC in a First Team match. On the middle day of the excursion, Moravian has a friendly match scheduled with a Steven Gerrard Academy squad as well as a tour of the Bolton Wanderers stadium.

The Greyhounds' final training session of the week is scheduled for January 12 with an Academy Coach from the Derby County FC program. Moravian will spend the last two days of the trip touring London and Windsor as well as attending the Reading FC versus Queens Park Rangers FC First Team match on January 14 before flying back to the United States on January 15.
