Hounds Top Penn State Brandywine for Tenth Win of the Season

MEDIA, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's tennis squad topped host Penn State Brandywine, 8-1, in non-conference action Sunday as the Greyhounds recorded their tenth win of the 2023-24 season.

How It Happened

  • The Hounds swept through the doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead. Junior Anthony Ronca and sophomore Shayaan Farhad combined for an 8-0 win at first doubles while junior Zachary Lebby and sophomore Matthew Labosky recorded an 8-3 triumph at second doubles. Senior Steve Schneider and freshman Garrett Morris teamed for an 8-6 victory at third doubles
  • The Blue & Grey captured five of the six singles contests with Ronca winning 6-2, 6-0 at first singles and Schneider posting a 7-5, 6-2 victory at sixth singles. Junior Ronny Pimentel Ferrer added a 6-2, 7-5 triumph at second singles while freshman Gavin Labbadia posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at third singles and sophomore Ryan Burke had a 6-1, 6-1 win at fourth singles
