BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Graduate student Tim King from the Moravian University men's indoor track & field squad has been honored as this week's Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for his performance last week.

King set the school record in the 35-pound weight throw at the Franklin & Marshall College Mini-Dip Invitational last Friday with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying distance of 16.41 meters (53-10.25) to finish second in the event. He hit the mark twice on his second and third attempts of the competition, and King surpassed the previous school record by six and three-quarter inches and threw a new personal best by two feet, seven inches. King was also fourth in the shot put with a distance of 13.84 meters (45-5) on his first throw of the meet, just missing the AARTFC qualifying distance by one centimeter.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
