CORTLAND, N.Y. --- The Moravian University men's outdoor track & field squad finished tied for 17th of 46 teams scoring a point at the 2024 All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by SUNY Cortland that finished on Thursday with the Hounds scoring 15 points on the second day of competition.
Moravian Event Champion
- Freshman Javon McKay took first in the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.72 seconds to garner ten points towards the team standings
Moravian Scoring Finishers
- Sophomore Bryan Kerchner finished sixth in the 1,500-meter run in a PR time of 3:54.99 to score three points. Kerchner's time is the third-fastest in program history
- McKay also had a seventh place finish in the 200-meter dash in 21.70 seconds score earn two points
Moravian Competitors
- The Hounds' 4x800-meter relay squad of Kerchner, senior Casey Frank, senior Paul Petre and junior Geoffrey Kleinberg was 14th in a time of 8:12.47
- Frank placed 15th in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.94
- Freshman Anthony Morillo finished 15th in the discus with a toss of 44.43 meters (145-9) while graduate student Tim King was 23rd with a mark of 43.50 meters (142-8)
- Sophomore Jerome Luckey was tied for 15th in the high jump at 1.83 meters (6-0) in his only attempt of the meet
- Senior Jeremy Goll took 29th in the shot put at 12.92 meters (42-4.75)
