Farrell Honored as Landmark Male Runner of the Week

MADISON, N.J. --- Sophomore Dillon Farrell (North Wales, Pa./Wissahickon HS) of the Moravian College men's cross country team has been named the first Male Cross Country Runner of the Week for the 2012 season after his performance last week.

Farrell paced Moravian team at the Lehigh University Invitational last Friday with a seventh place finish of 107 runners in a time of 18:53.16 on the 6,000-meter course.  He was the third non-NCAA Division I student-athlete to finish the race.

The Greyhounds are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, September 15th at the Juniata College Invitational that will be run at the Fort Roberdeau Historic Site in Altoona which is also the site of the 2012 Landmark Conference Championships on October 27th.
