Moravian Men Take Fourth at Lehigh Invitational

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's cross country squad opened the 2023 season by finishing fourth of seven schools at the Lehigh University Invitational Friday evening, and the Greyhounds were the top non-NCAA Division I team in the meet. 

How It Happened

  • Junior Owen Nahf had Moravian's top time on the 6,000-meter course as he finished 23rd of 114 runners in a time of 18:48.3
  • Sophomore Bryan Kerchner was 33rd overall in a time of 18:58.0 while junior Geoffrey Kleinberg took 43rd at 19:20.6 and freshman Nate Moore was one spot back in 19:21.1 in his collegiate debut
  • Junior Nathan Hajel posted a time of 19:24.1 to finished 46th while senior Casey Frank was 56th in 19:40.1
  • Freshman Logan Betyeman rounded out the Greyhounds' top seven with a 62nd place finish in 19:57.6 while junior Jake Farrell was a spot behind in 19:59.6
