Cunningham Named as Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Sophomore pitcher Madi Cunningham of the Moravian University softball squad has been named as this week's Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for their performance last week.

Cunningham was selected as the Most Outstanding Player of the 2023 Landmark Conference Softball Tournament as she helped the Greyhounds win their tenth Landmark Conference title and 18th overall conference championship since 2000. Cunningham was 2-0 in the circle during the tournament with a 1.75 earned run average and seven strikeouts in 12 innings of action. She allowed just three runs on nine hits and a pair of walks during her two appearances, and Cunningham added three assists in field on three chances.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
