Three Greyhounds Ranked in NCAA Division III Statistics

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Three Moravian College women's basketball players are ranked in the latest NCAA Division III women's basketball statistics released Tuesday.

Sophomore forward Alexis Wright is tied for seventh in the nation with 11 double-doubles, 16th with 12.2 rebounds per game, 48th with 2.06 blocks per game and 78th with 16.9 points per game. Wright has helped the nationally-ranked No. 24 Greyhounds to a 16-2 record and 7-0 in the Landmark Conference.

Junior center Laura Jordan is tied for 49th in the country with 2.00 blocks per game. On the season, Jordan is averaging 8.4 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Katie O'Rourke is tied for 43rd in Division III with 4.6 assists per game. This winter, O'Rourke is putting up 11.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game to go with her 82 assists and 44 steals.

As a team, the No. 24 Moravian College Greyhounds rank eighth in blocked shots per game (6.1), tied for 22nd in winning percentage (88.9), 23rd in field goal percentage defense (32.1), tied for 36th in three-point field goal defense (24.0), 37th in points per game (71.1), 41st in scoring margin (14.6) and 50th in rebounding margin (6.9)

No. 24 Moravian returns to the court on Saturday, January 26th as they host to Landmark Conference foe Goucher College. The contest is set for 2 p.m.
