HAGERSTOWN, Md. --- The Moravian University women's golf squad competed in the opening round of the Cardinal Classic hosted by The Catholic University of America at the Black Rock Golf Club.

- Host Catholic leads the seven scoring squads with an opening round of 303
Moravian Results
- Freshman Heidi Wegscheider led Moravian on the first day with an 81 on the par 72 course that included two birdies and seven pars to put her in a tie for 12th of the 47 golfers
- Freshman Ella Oswald recorded a 95 with an eagle, a birdie and a par on Saturday
- Freshman Alivia Zagra had a round of 101 with a trio of pars
