Hounds Participate in Final Round of Cardinal Classic

HAGERSTOWN, Md. --- The Moravian University women's golf squad participated in the second round of the Cardinal Classic hosted by The Catholic University of America at the Black Rock Golf Club Sunday. 

How It Happened

  • The Hounds competed as individuals in the tournament
  • Host Catholic finished first of the seven scoring squads with a 36-hole score of 620 

Moravian Results

  • Freshman Heidi Wegscheider finished in a tie for tenth of the 44 golfers with a 160. Wegscheider shot a career low round of 79 on Sunday with a birdie and 11 pars
  • Freshman Ella Oswald tied for 37th with a 204 after a second round of 109
  • Freshman Alivia Zagra carded a 117 Sunday for a tournament total of 218 to finish 40th
