FLANDERS, N.J. --- The Moravian University women's team participated in the opening round of the 36-hole Garden State Classic being hosted by Drew University Friday at the Flanders Valley Golf Club.

How It Happened

  • The Hounds are playing as just individuals in the tournament
  • Ithaca College and Hamilton College are tied for first with opening rounds of 324

Moravian Results

  • Freshman Alivia Zagra is tied for 35th of 55 golfers with an opening round 99 that included four pars
  • Freshman Ella Oswald carded a 103 with a par to sit in tie for 40th after the first round
  • Freshman Heidi Wegscheider is tied for 43rd after a 104 in the first round with one par
