BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's lacrosse squad captured its fourth straight Landmark Conference victory and fifth consecutive win overall with a 17-13 triumph over visiting Susquehanna University under the lights on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.

How It Happened

  • The River Hawks netted the first goal of the night just 1:46 into the contest. Bill's first marker came at the 10:42 mark, and she scored a minute later to put Moravian ahead. Graduate student attack Eliza Fantazzi netted a goal to make it 4-1 before Susquehanna scored again to set the score at 4-2 for the Blue & Grey after 15 minutes of action
  • The Hounds opened the second period with a goal from sophomore midfielder Alex Cherenson while the River Hawks answered with a goal. Moravian ran off the next four goals in just under five minutes of action with Bill, senior midfielder Megan Donnelly, sophomore midfielder Madi Dippel and sophomore attack Jackie Salvatore each scoring once as the Greyhounds pushed out to a 9-3 advantage. Susquehanna put the final two goals of the first half in the net to pull within 9-5 at the intermission
  • The River Hawks added two more goals to start the second half to make it a 9-7 contest before senior attack Devin King tallied a goal. Donnelly and Salvatore also netted goals to make it 12-7 before Susquehanna scored again. The River Hawks netted the final goal of the evening but would not get any closer
