Bill Named Landmark Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian University graduate student attack Brittany Bill has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.

Bill led Moravian to a 2-0 week as the Greyhounds won a pair of Landmark Conference matches to clinch the second seed in the 2023 Landmark Conference Tournament. Bill had 13 goals, four assists, 18 draw controls, five ground balls and four caused turnovers during the week. She had six goals, three assists, 12 draws, two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 17-13 win over Susquehanna University, and Bill contributed seven goals, an assist, six draws, three ground balls and two caused turnovers in an 18-9 victory at Juniata College.

"Brittany has been a huge presence to gain this year," noted second-year Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She is an incredible athlete, teammate, and knows the game very well to be a threat in each aspect."

Moravian, which is 10-5 overall and 5-1 in Landmark Conference action, is slated to return to action on Wednesday, April 26 when the squad hosts FDU-Florham in the final non-conference match of the season beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
