Six Greyhounds Selected to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll and Team Earns Honors Squad

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association has announced the Moravian University women's lacrosse team as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad and six of the Greyhounds' student-athletes to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Wednesday afternoon.

For a team to qualify for this prestigious honor, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year. Moravian joins five other Landmark Conference institutions and is one of 289 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2022-23 academic year.

Honorees for IWLCA Academic Honor Roll must be juniors, seniors or graduate students, and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. The Division III Academic Honor Roll included 964 student-athletes from 173 different institutions including 42 from Landmark Conference schools with Moravian's six.

Graduate student Brittany Bill, seniors Megan Donnelly, Brelyn Friedman, Emily Hoskin and Devin King and junior Salome Carr were selected to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for their work in the classroom.

Bill was working on a Doctorate of Physical Therapy while Donnelly, Friedman and Hoskin all finished degrees in nursing and King graduated with a degree in health science on a pre-physical therapy track. Carr has a dual major of health sciences and graphic design.
