Salvatore Named to IWLCA All-Metro Region First Team

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. --- Moravian University junior attack Jackie Salvatore has been named to the 2024 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association's All-Metro Region First Team.

Salvatore helped the Greyhounds to an 8-10 overall record this season and the program's sixth trip to the Landmark Conference Tournament. The Hounds were 5-4 in the Landmark Conference regular season to earn the sixth seed in the tournament.

Salvatore, who was on the 2024 Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Year and named to the Landmark All-Conference First Team this spring, set the school record with 109 points this spring on 52 goals and a program record 57 assists, and she also contributed 91 draw controls, 32 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers this year. In three seasons, Salvatore, who was on the Landmark All-Conference Second Team in 2022 and 2023 while being Landmark Conference Rookie of the Year in 2022, has 259 points to rank third in school history on 134 goals, which is sixth all-time, and 125 assists, which is second in program history, and she has 92 ground balls, 127 draw controls, ninth all-time, and 39 caused turnovers in 54 career contests.

"I'm very excited to see Jackie on first team for the region," commented Head Coach Caroline Pape. "She is a fantastic athlete whose speed and agility are tough to match. Even in a faceguard, her combination of tenacity, athleticism, and grit is hard to beat."
