Hounds Fall to No. 13 Misericordia in Non-Conference Play

DALLAS, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad fell to No.13 Misericordia University 5-0 in non-conference action on the road Saturday evening.

How It Happened

  • Senior forward Megan Chesney would record a shot on goal in the fourth minute, but Misericordia scored its first of the half in the 16th minute. The Cougars netted their second in the 44th to take a 2-0 lead into halftime
  • Freshman Anika Buzzy recorded the Greyhounds other shot on goal before the Cougars added three more second half goals to put the game at its final score.

Inside the Numbers

  • Moravian was outshot 25-7 by Misericordia and earned just one corner kick to the Cougars 13.  
  • Sophomore goalie Payce Korpics started in net and recorded six saves in 45 minutes as sophomore Paige Harrison recorded one save while playing the second half.
