BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad is scheduled to open the 2022 season on Thursday, September 1 with a hone match versus Lebanon Valley College on John Makuvek Field.
The Greyhounds will play at home on John Makuvek Field for another three straight matches and five times in the month of September, beginning with a contest against Penn State-Berk on September 3. The Hounds then welcome rival Muhlenberg College on September 7 and close out the three-match homestand with a contest against Widener University on September 10. The Blue & Grey then head out on the road for one match versus Swarthmore on September 14 before returning home for two matches, the first against Misericordia University on September 17 and then welcoming Stockton University to Makuvek Field on September 21 to close out home contests in the opening month. The 2022 Landmark Conference schedule begins on September 24 when the Hounds travel to Juniata College, the squad closes out September with a trip to Eastern University on September 28.
The month of October will see the Greyhounds play seven contests and five of them will be at Makuvek Field when the squad hosts Susquehanna on October 1 in conference action and then Ursinus College comes to Bethlehem on October 5. Moravian will make the trip to Drew University on October 8 for their first road match of the month, leading into another three-match homestand with Landmark Conference opponents Elizabethtown College on October 12, The University of Scranton on October 15 and The Catholic University of America on October 22. Moravian ends their regular season on the road in conference action against Goucher College on October 29.
The Greyhounds, who were the three seed a year ago, look to qualify for the 2022 Landmark Conference Tournament that begins with the semifinals on Tuesday, November 1 and the finals slated for Saturday, November 5 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
