BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with visiting Elizabethtown College in Landmark Conference action on John Makuvek Field Wednesday evening.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds had an 8-3 edge in shots in the opening half including three on goal but neither squad was able to score. Junior midfielder Amanda Aloia broke in alone in the 27th minute, but her shot from just outside the six-yard box was stopped by the Blue Jays' keeper
  • The second half started with the Blue & Grey putting two more shots on the goalie, but it would be the Blue Jays that had a 13-5 advantage in shots over the final 45 minutes. Elizabethtown hit the crossbar twice in the second half while Moravian's best opportunity to score was in the 50th minute on a close in shot by sophomore forward Carly Pyatt that was saved
