BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer squad is slated to begin the 2023 season with three consecutive road matches beginning with a non-conference match at Lebanon Valley College on Friday, September 1.
The Greyhounds will head to Penn State Berks on Sunday, September 3 and rival Muhlenberg College on Wednesday, September 6 to finish off the season-opening road trip. The Blue & Grey will make the 2023 home debut at John Makuvek Field on Friday, September 8 versus Cedar Crest College, and the squad welcomes Swarthmore College on Wednesday, September 13.
Moravian heads back out on the road for four straight matches starting with a trip to Misericordia University on Saturday, September 16. The trip also includes matches at Stockton University on Wednesday, September 20, the 2023 Landmark Conference season opener at The Catholic University of America on Saturday, September 23 and the final non-conference match of the year at Immaculata University on Thursday, September 28. The Hounds close out the month of September with a Landmark Conference match versus conference newcomer Wilkes University on Saturday, September 30 at John Makuvek Field.
The month of October sees the Greyhounds slated for seven Landmark Conference matches. The Blue & Grey start the month at home versus Goucher College on Tuesday, October 3 before traveling to the other Landmark newcomer Lycoming College on Saturday, October 7. The Blue & Grey then travel to Drew University on Tuesday, October 10 before returning home for three consecutive matches at John Makuvek Field with outings versus Susquehanna University on Saturday, October 14, Elizabethtown College on Tuesday, October 17 and Juniata College on Saturday, October 21. Moravian's final road contest of the year will be at The University of Scranton on Saturday, October 28 to close out the regular season.
The Hounds look to qualify for the 2023 Landmark Conference Tournament, which expands to five teams with the two new schools in the conference, starting with the first round between the fourth and fifth seed on Tuesday, October 31. The semifinal matches will be at the top two season on Thursday, November 2 with the finals slated for Saturday, November 4 at the highest remaining seeds' home field.
