Greyhounds & Warriors Play to Scoreless Draw in Landmark Conference Action

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's soccer team played to a scoreless draw with host Lycoming College Saturday as the Greyhounds remained unbeaten in Landmark Conference action in 2023.

How It Happened

  • The Greyhounds had an 8-2 advantage in shots in the first half including five shots on goal, however, the Hounds were unable to put the ball in the net
  • The second half also saw Moravian with a 6-1 edge in shots with one more shot on the keeper
  • Junior defender Hailey Scaff and junior forward Carly Pyatt each attempted three shots in the contest with Scaff and senior forward Danielle Bishop both recording two shots on goal.

Inside the Numbers

  • Senior goalie Payce Korpics registered a pair of saves in the first half of the match while senior goalie Paige Harrison stopped one shot in the second half. For the duo, it was their sixth combined shutout of 2023 and the 20th of their careers together
