Moravian Women Finish Fifth in Ranger Invitational with Two School Records

MADISON, N.J. --- The Moravian University women's swimming squad finished fifth at the two-day Drew University Ranger Invitational after two sessions in the pool on Saturday.

How It Happened

  • Junior Catie Lovett took sixth in the 200-yard backstroke in a school record time of 2:24.85 to garner three points, and she was eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a season best time of 1:06.81 to earn the final point for the Hounds. Lovett swam an exhibition and season-best time of 58.11 seconds in the 100-yard freestyle
  • Junior Sarah Mazzetti placed 12th in the 200-yard breaststroke in a school record time of 2:59.04, and she was 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke in a season best time of 1:22.90
  • Freshman Mia Espinal finished 24th in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 1:13.93
