Greyhounds Fall to Marywood in Final Road Meet of Regular Season

SCRANTON, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's swimming team fell to host Marywood University, 89-48, in non-conference action as the Greyhounds swam their final road dual meet of the 2023-24 season.

How It Happened

  • Junior Catie Lovett won the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 26.64 seconds, and she captured the 100-yard freestyle in 58.12 seconds
  • Junior Sarah Mazzetti placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:26.53, and she was third in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 13:11.29
  • Freshman Mia Espinal took second in the 500-yard freestyle in 6:50.35, and she was fourth in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:40.70
  • Junior Lydia Devlin finished third in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:21.59, and she was third in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:12.46
  • The Greyhounds' quartet won the 200-yard freestyle relay in a time of 1:59.46
