TOWSON, Md. --- Moravian College junior Emma Angle has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance last week.
Angle helped the Greyhounds begin the 2019-20 season with an 8-1 victory over Immaculata University. Angle and doubles partner senior Eiman Nazif posted an 8-0 victory at first doubles. Angle then posted a 6-0, 6-3 win at first singles.
"Emma started the year off great with a nice win at the #1 singles and doubles positions," noted Director of Tennis Aaron Wilf. "We look forward to her having a stellar year for us this season."
Moravian is scheduled to return to action on Sunday, September 15 when the squad hosts NCAA Division II Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in a non-conference contest beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Hoffman Courts.
