Women’s 4x400-Meter Relay Squad Named Moravian Student-Athletes of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

Women's 4x400-meter relay team for Honey Stinger of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Seniors Rachel Byrne and Crystal Robinson, sophomore Abby Giamoni and freshman Elena Bocchetti from the Moravian University women's indoor track & field squad have been named as this week's Moravian Student-Athletes of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for their performance last week.

The quartet ran an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying, Landmark Conference record and school record time of 3:59.02 in the 4x400-meter relay at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational last Friday. Byrne, Robinson, Giamoni and Bocchetti are the first women's 4x400 relay team to go under four minutes in the event and took 3.4 seconds off of the previous program best. Byrne ran the first leg followed by Bocchetti, Robinson and Giamoni finished as the anchor.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
