Giamoni Named Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Junior Abby Giamoni from the Moravian University women's track & field team has been named the Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger for her performance last week.

Giamoni was honored as the 2024 Landmark Conference Outdoor Track Performer of the Year after scoring 23 points with victories in the 200 and 400-meter dashes and third place finishes in the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. Giamoni won the 400-meter dash with an All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference qualifying, PR and Elizabethtown facility record time of 57.15 seconds, the sixth-fastest time in program history, and she won the 200-meter dash in 25.75 seconds. Giamoni ran legs on the 4x100-meter relay that was third in an AARTFC qualifying time of 49.27 seconds and the 4x400-meter relay that placed third in a time of 4:11.57.

The Moravian Student-Athlete of the Week Fueled by Honey Stinger is selected on Mondays by Moravian's athletic department leadership team.
