LEXINGTON, Ky. – Seniors libero Jesse Krasley and right-side hitter Samantha Savite have been named to the 2012 American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Mid-Atlantic All-Region Team announced Thursday.
Krasley, who earned Mid-Atlantic All-Region honors last fall, and was named Landmark Conference Specialist of the Year and to the Landmark All-Conference First Team, owns every Moravian school record in digs including a career total of 2,463. This season, Krasley has tallied a team-high 715 digs while ranking second on the team with 124 assists and 43 service aces.
Savite was also named to the Mid-Atlantic All-Region team last fall while also garnering Landmark All-Conference Second Team honors this season. Savite has a team-best 392 kills this year while posting 142 digs, 70 blocks and 39 service aces.
The Greyhounds, who just broke the school's single-season wins record with their 28th win in the ECAC Division III South Quarterfinals, travel to Bethany College for the ECAC South Semifinals this Saturday, November 10th. Moravian will take on Swarthmore College at 2 p.m.
