TOWSON, Md. --- Sophomore Melissa Follett of the Moravian College women's tennis team has been named the Landmark Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this spring for her performance last week.
Follett , who was also named the Landmark Conference Player of the Week on March 4th, helped the Greyhounds to a 1-1 record last week with a 6-3 win over Ursinus College and a 5-4 loss to Goucher College to begin the 2013 Landmark Conference season. Follett won both of her matches at first singles in straight sets for the Greyhounds, and she teamed with junior Erica Venuti for a pair of victories at first doubles.
Moravian, now 7-1 on the year, is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, March 23rd when the squad hosts The Catholic University in a Landmark Conference match beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Hoffman Courts.
