Cheerleaders Perform at Vampire Prom for Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund

ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Moravian College Cheerleaders performed at the Vampire Prom, organized by The Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund of Lehigh Valley Health Network, in order to assist with the fundraising efforts for Lehigh Valley breast cancer patients.

Every year, hundreds of women in the Lehigh Valley are dealt the stunning news that they have been diagnosed with breast cancer. For many, this means multiple surgical procedures, hospital stays, countless doctor visits, months of exhausting chemotherapy and radiation treatments, and more. All too often this means lost wages and insurmountable bills during what is already perhaps the most difficult point in a given patient's life.

The Breast Cancer Patient Assistance Fund of Lehigh Valley Health Network is a charity made possible by the generous donations of the local community. Through this unique charity, breast cancer patients in need are given a $1,000 grant to help them cover their non-medical expenses. Moravian Cheer team was very excited to be involved in such a worthy cause.
