Greyhounds Fall to Drew in 2021 Season Finale

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University men's soccer squad fell to visiting Drew University, 3-0, in Landmark Conference action under the lights of John Makuvek Field Saturday evening to close out the 2021 season.

How It Happened

  • The squads played to a scoreless first half with both teams taking four shots and recording a pair of corner kicks
  • The Rangers needed 1:56 into the second half to break onto the scoreboard, and Drew added goals in the 66th and 71st minutes to finish off the scoring

Inside the Numbers

  • Drew finished the contest with a 12-10 advantage in shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks
  • The Greyhounds used two goalies with graduate student Michael Bone starting the match and making two saves in the first half. Senior Mason LeSage played the second half and also had two saves
