Men's Tennis Travels to Florida to Start Spring Season

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Moravian College men's tennis team will be traveling to Florida to open up the spring season.

The Greyhounds will take on Stonehill (Mass.) College, Mt. St. Mary (N.Y.) College, Grand Valley State University and Clark (Mass.) University from Sunday, March 3rd till Wednesday, March 6th.

Moravian participated in three invitationals during the fall season while falling to King's (Pa.) College.

This season freshman Matt Tuorto led the Greyhounds with a 3-4 record in singles and a 2-5 mark in doubles action. Senior Brad Kutcha tallied one victory in singles and doubles while freshman C.J. Widdifield had two wins in doubles and one in singles in the fall.

Freshman John Wylie went 0-1 in first singles while adding two victories in doubles action. Sophomore Lewis Cooper, who did not participate in the fall season, went 8-5 in singles and 7-7 in doubles action last year.

Adding depth to the tennis squad is freshmen Dylan Morrow, Kerry Reider and Libario Obeid.
