Greyhound Men Tie for 31st at All-Atlantic Region Indoor Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. --- The Moravian College men's track & field squad tied for 31st at the 2020 All-Atlantic Region Indoor Championships hosted by Nazareth (N.Y.) College that concluded Saturday.

The Greyhounds scored four points in the two-day meet, all coming from senior Greg Jaindl. He was sixth in the mile run with a time of 4:20.83 and eighth in the 3,000-meter run in 8:39.11, the fourth fastest time in school history, to score for the Hounds. Junior Sean McFarland was 11th in the 200-meter dash in a time of 22.93 seconds, which won his heat, while senior Justin Beasley-Turner finished 17th in the 800-meter run in 1:58.91.

The Greyhounds also had four competitors in the field events including three in the weight throw as junior Shane Mastro finished 17th at 15.19 meters (49-10) and was followed by senior Ryan Harper in 19th with a distance of 15.00 meters (49-2.5) and sophomore Tim King at 25th with a toss of 14.01 meters (45-11.75). Senior Nicholas Cephas finished 18th in the long jump with a leap of 6.41 meters (21-0.5).

Moravian is now off until the outdoor season begins on Saturday, March 21 at the West Chester University Golden Ram Invitational
