BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted its Annual SAAC Kickoff event in Johnston Hall Wednesday evening to begin the 2019-20 athletic season.
The night began with Director of Athletics & Recreation Mary Beth Spirk welcoming all of the student-athletes and introduction the members of the coaching staff and athletic department in attendance by a member of each team. Coach Spirk also honored the returning teams that captured Landmark Conference titles in 2018-19 as well as participated in the NCAA postseason.
The event then moved onto the court with three sessions of mindfulness activities coordinated by Moravian's Counseling Center. After a group picture at center court, all of the student-athletes were treated to an ice cream sundae bar and all of the freshmen and transfer student-athletes received a Moravian Athletics, 21 sports - 1 team t-shirt compliments of the Blue & Grey Club.
