BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Moravian College is continuing its look back at its 2019-20 athletic campaign. The next event in the Top 10 Exciting Games from the past year is our No. 7 highlight – the women's lacrosse squad traveling to Florida for Spring Break and defeating NAIA nationally-ranked Kaiser (Fla.) University, 20-13.

The Greyhounds were 4-2 when the season was first paused, then cancelled due to COVID-19.

On March 7 in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Blue and Grey took on Kaiser, which entered the match ranked No. 4 in the nation in the NAIA. Junior midfielder Meaghan McMullan and junior attack Danielle Sullvian scored within 20 seconds of each other to give Moravian a 2-0 lead less than four minutes into action. Kaiser answered by scoring three of the next four goals to tie the match at 3-3 with a little over 19 minutes left in the first half.

The Hounds scored the next five goals including two by senior attack Liz Bill to race out to an 8-3 lead, an advantage they would hold for the rest of the match. Moravian lead 10-4 at halftime after Bill scored in the closing seconds of the half, and the Blue and Grey led by as many as 10 goals after sophomore attack/midfielder Kelsey Moore scored with just over 11 minutes remaining.

Sullivan led the Greyhounds with five goals and two assists while Bill and sophomore midfielder Lindsey Strohl each had four goals.
