Greyhounds Fall at TCNJ in Non-Conference Action

EWING, N.J. --- The Moravian University field hockey team fell to The College of New Jersey, 3-0, in non-conference action on the road Wednesday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Lions jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the third minute and held the lead through the rest of the first quarter
  • TCNJ added a goal with just 2:22 until the intermission to head to the break with a 2-0 edge
  • The Lions needed just 26 seconds into the third quarter to score again and make their lead 3-0, and that would be the final goal of the match

Inside the numbers

  • Senior goalie Brooke Wilkinson recorded a career-high 13 saves in the contest
  • The Lions had a 23-3 advantage in shots including 16-1 on the cage, and TCNJ also had an 11-1 edge in penalty corners
