Golf Places 2nd & 17th at Moravian College Invitational

The Moravian College golf team hosted its annual Fall Invitational at Woodstone Country Club. Franklin & Marshall won the tournament with a team score 310 while the Moravian White Team was second with a 312 and the Greyhounds' Blue Team was 17th with a 377. Cameron Warner from F&M had a low individual round of 74 on the par 71 course. The course was shortened to 71 holes by playing the tenth hole as a par 3 due to wetness on the fairway.

Greyhound senior Scott Stires tied for third of the 81 golfers in the tournament with a five-over par round of 76 while junior Thomas Fenyak and senior Sam Stires were tied for tenth with rounds of 78. Senior John Dimler, pictured, and freshman Mark Saeger tied for 13th with rounds 79 while junior Aaron Thieme was tied for 19th with an 80. Freshman Scott Nevenglosky was 74th with a 95 while freshman Matt Adams carded a 100 to tie for 76th and freshman Eric Schultz was tied for 79th with a 104.
