BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- On Saturday April 21, the Moravian College men's tennis team celebrated Senior Day by recognizing our four graduating senior players.  Kevin Holze, Doug Morrow, Drew Shreter, and David Chan will be graduating this May.  Our parents, alumni, and friends were on hand following our match with Goucher College for a cook-out and the presentation of a new Men's Tennis Award.

For the first time an award was presented to the player on the Men's Team that has exhibited the most dedication and commitment throughout the season.  The first winner of this annual award was senior co-captain Kevin Holze.  On hand to present this award was Merr Trumbore '62.  Merr was a former No. 1 player for Moravian.  He established this award in memory of his wife Lois Ann Trumbore who passed away this past fall.  Merr presented the plaque to Kevin following Moravian's 7-2 win over Goucher.  There also will be a permanent plaque displayed in the Johnston Hall trophy case with the winners names listed on it.  On behalf of the entire Tennis Program we want to thank Merr very much.
