BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian University women's lacrosse squad opens the 2023 season on Wednesday, February 22 with a non-conference home match with rival Muhlenberg College beginning at 4:00 p.m. on John Makuvek Field.
The Hounds will also host FDU-Florham on Saturday, February 25 before heading out on a three-match road trip. Moravian is slated to take on Bridgewater (Va.) College in Hilton Head, South Carolina on Tuesday, February 28, and the Blue and Grey travel to Savannah College of Art & Design in George on Thursday, March 2 as part of the squad's Spring Break trip. The Greyhounds finish the week at Widener University on Saturday, March 4.
Moravian returns to John Makuvek Field on Wednesday, March 8 to host Montclair State University, and a week later the Hounds head to Cabrini University for a match on Wednesday, March 15. The Blue & Grey are set to host Alvernia University on Saturday, March 18 before a trip to The College of New Jersey on Tuesday, March 21. The Greyhounds will begin their 2023 Landmark Conference schedule on Saturday, March 25 when The Catholic University of America comes to Bethlehem, and the squad plays its final non-conference match of the year on Wednesday, March 29 at Stockton University.
The Greyhounds will play their final six Landmark Conference matches in April with four on the road, but the month begins at John Makuvek Field versus Drew University on Saturday, April 1. The Hounds head to The University of Scranton on Thursday, April 6 and Elizabethtown College on Wednesday, April 12. Moravian hosts Susquehanna University on Saturday, April 15 for the final home match of the regular season. The Greyhounds finish the year with trips to Juniata College on Saturday, April 22 and Goucher College on Saturday, April 29.
The 2023 Landmark Conference Tournament is slated to start on Wednesday, May 3 with two semifinal matches at the top seeds, and the conference champion will receive an automatic berth to the 2023 NCAA Division III Tournament.
