ASTON, Pa. --- The Moravian University baseball squad jumped out to a 5-0 lead after two innings, but Neumann University was able to score six unanswered runs to take down the Greyhounds 6-5 in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

How It Happened

  •  The Greyhounds extended their advantage in the top of the second inning when junior second baseman Chris Pow flew out to center-field for a sacrifice fly that plated senior right fielder Robert Roman to score their final run of the game
  • Neumann scored their first run of the night in the bottom of the fourth inning, then tacked on two runs in both the fifth and seventh innings to knot the contest at 5-5.
  • Moravian went down in order to start the eighth frame but in the bottom half of the inning, the Knights managed to get the game-winning run across the plate on a bases-loaded walk to defeat the Greyhounds 6-5
