BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- The Moravian College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to visiting Goucher College in Landmark Conference action Sunday afternoon in a match played inside Timothy Breidegam Fieldhouse due to the weather.
How It Happened
- The Greyhounds picked up a point in doubles action as sophomore Andrew Hozza and freshman Steve Schneider earned an 8-0 victory in third doubles. That was Moravian's first doubles point against Goucher since 2015
- The Gophers won the first three singles matches off of the courts to clinch the contest
- Schneider earned the Hounds' first singles win against Goucher since 2016 with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph at sixth singles. Hozza made it a 5-3 match when he won 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles
- Senior Mason Hudnall nearly made it a one-point final score before falling in three sets, 6-7 (5-7), 6-1, 1-0 (10-7) at fourth singles
